Composition
Each 1 ml contains:
Amoxicillin (as trihydrate) 150 mg.
Indications & target animals
Amox 15% LA (Long-Acting) is indicated for the treatment of various bacterial infections in cattle, sheep, dogs, and cats. Its broad spectrum of activity covers infections of the respiratory, digestive, skin and soft tissue, wound, and urogenital systems, as well as navel and joint infections. It is also used for secondary bacterial infections associated with viral diseases and for post-surgical infection prophylaxis. Amox 15% LA is effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria sensitive to amoxicillin, including E. coli, Salmonella spp., Proteus spp., Streptococcus spp., and non-beta-lactamase-producing Staphylococcus spp.
Administration & dosages
via intramuscular (IM) or subcutaneous (SC) injection, depending on the target animal. Invert the vial several times before use.
Dosage:
Cattle & Sheep: 1 mL/10 kg body weight via IM injection. Do not exceed 15 mL per injection site in cattle or 4 mL in sheep.
Dogs & Cats: 0.5 mL/5 kg body weight via IM or SC injection.
Withdrawal period
Meat: Cattle: 39 days, Sheep: 29 days
Milk: Cattle: 108 hours (4.5 days)
• Sheep: Not to be administered to ewes producing milk for human consumption.

In a dry and dark place at 15 - 25° C.
