Composition
Each 10 g syringe contains:
Erythromycin thiocyanate, 300 mg.
Indications & target animals
Mastimycin intramammary infusion treats mastitis in dairy cows caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria sensitive to erythromycin, specifically Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus agalactiae, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, and Streptococcus uberis.

During Lactation
Complete udder evacuation is required, followed by thorough cleaning and disinfection of the teats and surrounding area, ensuring complete drying. Administer one 10g dose directly into each quarter via the teat canal immediately after milking. Repeat the dose at 12-hour intervals using the same procedure, for a maximum of three consecutive administrations.
During the Dry Period
After the final milking, completely evacuate the udder. Clean and disinfect the teats and surrounding area, ensuring thorough drying. Administer one 10g dose directly into each quarter via the teat canal, once only.
Post-Administration Procedure
Following administration, gently massage the udder upwards several times to facilitate even dispersion of the medication within the alveoli. Each syringe is for single-use only; dispose of the empty syringe hygienically after use.
Withdrawal period
Meat:14 days.
Milk: 36 hours.
