Dosage form Injectable solution. Composition

Each 1 ml contains:

Imidocarb dipropionate 120 mg

Indications & target animals Used for the treatment and prevention of babesiosis in cattle, sheep, horses, and dogs, and for the treatment of anaplasmosis in cattle and ehrlichiosis in dogs. Administration & dosages via intramuscular (IM) or subcutaneous (SC) injection.
Treatment
• Cattle:
o For complicated Anaplasma and Babesia infections: 1 mL per 100 kg body weight.
o For other indications: 2.5 mL per 100 kg body weight.
• Sheep: 0.5 mL per 100 kg body weight.
• Horses: 2 mL per 100 kg body weight (IM injection is preferred). For Babesia caballi infection, repeat the dose after 24 hours.
• Dogs:
o 0.25 mL per 10 kg body weight.
o For complicated Ehrlichia and Babesia infections: 0.5 mL per 10 kg body weight, administered in two doses 14 days apart.
Prophylaxis
• Cattle: 2.5 mL per 100 kg body weight. A single dose provides protection against Babesia for up to 4 weeks, depending on the severity and type of exposure.
• Sheep: 1 mL per 50 kg body weight.
• Horses: 2 mL per 100 kg body weight (IM injection is preferred).
• Dogs: 0.5 mL per 10 kg body weight. A single dose provides protection against Babesia for up to 4 weeks.
Withdrawal period Cattle and Sheep: Meat withdrawal: 90 days. Milk withdrawal: 7 days.
Do not administer to ewes producing milk for human consumption.
