Dosage form Oral solution. Composition

Each 100 ml contains:

Doxycycline hyclate 10g, Bromhexine Hcl 1g.

Indications & target animals BRODOX, a broad-spectrum antimicrobial, is effective against numerous Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It is utilized in broiler chickens and turkeys for the prevention and treatment of respiratory and gastrointestinal diseases caused by doxycycline-sensitive bacteria. These include Escherichia coli infections, necrotic enteritis, chronic respiratory disease (CRD), airsacculitis, chlamydiosis, and mycoplasmosis. Additionally, Broodox, containing bromhexine, facilitates the clearance and reduces the viscosity of mucopurulent secretions, thereby enhancing the respiratory system's defensive function. Administration & dosages Orally via drinking water.
Dosage:
For poultry and turkeys, administer 0.5 ml per liter of drinking water for 3-5 consecutive days. (This provides a daily dosage equivalent to 11.5 mg doxycycline hyclate per kg body weight and 0.5 mg bromhexine hydrochloride per kg body weight).
Withdrawal period Meat: Broilers: 8 days; Turkeys: 12 days. Not for use in laying hens producing eggs for human consumption, nor within 4 weeks prior to the onset of egg production.
