Composition
Each 1 ml contains:
Carbocisteine 50 mg.
Indications & target animals
A mucolytic agent, it reduces excessive mucus production and dissolves phlegm. It's effective as an adjuvant therapy for bronchitis in poultry, where it breaks down mucous plugs into smaller fragments, facilitating their expulsion from the respiratory tract. It's also used in cases of Pasteurella infection in sheep and cattle.
Administration & dosages
Orally via drinking water.
Dosage:
Poultry: 100 mL per 200 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Cattle and Sheep: 1 mL per 10 kg of live body weight for 5-7 days.
Withdrawal period
Meat & Eggs: 2 days.
Storage
In a dry and dark place at 15 - 30° C.
Presentation
Plastic container of 100 ml - 500 ml – 1000 ml.
