Composition
Each 100 ml contains:
Colistin Sulphate 25 m.I.U
Cefalexin 15 gr
Indications & target animals
Cepha Plus is a broad-spectrum injectable antibiotic for treating systemic bacterial infections in large and small animals.
The combination (Colistin and Cephalexin) is effective against respiratory and digestive infections (such as pneumonia and colisepticemia) as well as skin and joint infections.
Colistin primarily targets Gram-negative bacteria (such as E. coli and Salmonella), while Cephalexin completes the coverage against Gram-positive bacteria (such as Staphylococcus and Streptococcus).
It is used for the treatment of calves, cattle, sheep, goats, and small animals.
Administration & dosages
Via intramuscular injection
Dosage: 1mL of the product per 10 kg body weight of the treated animals once daily for 3-5 days.
For calves: 10 ml of the product / 100 kg live weight twice daily from 3 - 5 days
Usage: Shake well before administration.
Withdrawal period
Meat: 20 days
Milk: 5 days
Storage
In a dry and dark place at 15 - 30° C.
