Dosage form Intramammary syringe Composition

Each syringe contains:

Ceftiofur (hydrochloride) 125 mg

Indications & target animals Indicated for the treatment of clinical and subclinical mastitis in lactating dairy cows caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria susceptible to ceftiofur, particularly Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus dysgalactiae, and Escherichia coli. Administration & dosages Intramammary Infusion Administration in Lactating Cows
Wash the teats and surrounding area with warm water containing a suitable antiseptic, then dry thoroughly. Completely empty the udder. Disinfect the teat orifice with an appropriate alcohol-based antiseptic. Administer one infusion per affected quarter directly into the teat canal once every 24 hours for up to 8 days, depending on the severity of the infection. Massage the udder upwards several times to facilitate drug dispersion within the mammary alveoli.

Withdrawal period Meat: 2 days.
Milk: 7 days.
