Dosage form Injectable solution. Composition

Each 100 ml contains:

Flunixin (as meglumine) 50 mg.

Indications & target animals FLUNEX is used as an adjunct therapy in:
• Cattle, Sheep, and Goats: For the control of pyrexia associated with respiratory disease, endotoxemia, and acute mastitis, and for the alleviation of inflammation associated with endotoxemia.
• Horses: For the alleviation of inflammation and pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders and the alleviation of visceral pain associated with colic.
• Dogs: For arthritis, heatstroke, shock, ophthalmitis, and parvoviral infections.
Administration & dosages Cattle: Administer 1-2 mL per 45 kg body weight via intramuscular (IM) or slow intravenous (IV) injection. The dose may be repeated after 24 hours as needed, for up to 3 days. The daily dose should not exceed 2.2 mg of active ingredient per 1 kg body weight. Do not inject more than 10 mL per injection site.
Sheep and Goats: Administer a single dose of 1-2 mL per 45 kg body weight via IM or slow IV injection.
Horses: Administer 1 mL per 45 kg body weight daily via IM or slow IV injection for up to 5 consecutive days, depending on clinical response. For cases of endotoxemia, septic shock associated with intestinal torsion, and conditions involving absent or reduced intestinal blood supply, administer 1 mL per 200 kg every 6-8 hours via slow IV injection.
Dogs: Administer 0.5 mL per 25 kg body weight via subcutaneous (SC), IM, or slow IV injection once daily for a maximum of 3 consecutive days.
Withdrawal period Cattle:
• Intramuscular injection: Meat withdrawal 31 days, milk withdrawal 36 hours.
• Intravenous injection: Meat withdrawal 14 days, milk withdrawal 48 hours.
Sheep and Goats:
• Intramuscular injection: Meat withdrawal 15 days, milk withdrawal 96 hours.
• Intravenous injection: Meat withdrawal 10 days, milk withdrawal 72 hours.

Contraindications: Do not administer to dry cows or beef calves.
