Composition
Each 100 ml contains:
Spiramycin adipate 60 m.i.u.
Indications & target animals
SPIRAJECT Forte is used in cattle to treat acute mastitis and metritis caused by spiramycin-sensitive bacteria, such as Staphylococcus aureus. It is also effective against respiratory tract infections, particularly those caused by Pasteurella multocida and Pasteurella haemolytica, as well as arthritis and foot rot.
Administration & dosages
Intramuscular (IM) injection.
Dosage:
• Cattle and Horses: 1 mL per 45-50 kg body weight, once daily for three consecutive days.
• Calves, Sheep, and Goats: 1 mL per 25-30 kg body weight, once daily for three consecutive days.
For severe cases, the dosage can be administered twice daily at 12-hour intervals for 3-5 consecutive days.
Withdrawal period
Meat: 75 days.
Milk: 13.5 days.
Storage
In a dry and dark place at 15 - 30° C.
Presentation
Plastic or Amber glass vials of 25 ml –50 ml - 100 ml.
