DOXIN 20 LA

Dosage form Injectable solution. Composition

Each 100 ml contains:

Doxycycline Hyclate 200 mg.

Indications & target animals DOXIN 20 LA is a long-acting antimicrobial used in cattle, sheep, and goats to treat infections caused by Doxycycline-sensitive Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria such as E. coli, Campylobacter, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, and Streptococcus, as well as Mycoplasma. It is effective in treating foot rot, navel ill, joint infections, and pneumonia. Administration & dosages via intramuscular (IM) injection.
Dosage:
Cattle, Sheep, and Goats: 1 mL per 10 kg body weight (equivalent to 10 mg Doxycycline per 1 kg body weight) once. The dose may be repeated after 48 hours. Do not inject more than 5 mL per injection site in cattle and 2.5 mL per injection site in sheep.
Withdrawal period Cattle, Sheep, and Goats: 21 days.
Milk: Do not administer to lactating animals producing milk for human consumption.
