Dosage form Injectable Suspension Composition

Each 100 ml contains:
Ceftiofur hydrochloride 5 gr.
Excipients q.s. for 100 ml

Indications & target animals UNIFURE 5% is indicated for treatment of cattle, sheep and goats with acute postpartum metritis (in 10 days after calving), mastitis, necrobacteriosis (panaritium, hoof decay), as well as with respiratory diseases caused by microorganisms susceptible to ceftiofur.
Treatment of dogs and cats with diseases of the digestive tract (enteritis, gastroenteritis, gastroenterocolitis), respiratory diseases (bronchitis, bronchopneumonia, rhinitis) and the genitourinary system (metritis, endometritis, mastitis, agalactia, cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis), joints, skin and soft tissues; with acute and chronic otitis, surgical, wound, postpartum and other primary and secondary infections of bacterial etiology caused by microorganisms susceptible to ceftiofur. Administration & dosages Via I.M. Or S.C. according to animal type , Shake the bottle very well before use.
Cattle, sheep, goats: 1 ml / 50 kg b.w. (1 mg / 1 kg b.w.). according to clinical response.
Dogs, cats: 0.5 ml / 10 kg b.w. (2.5 mg / 1 kg b.w.). according to clinical response.
The maximum recommended dose: for a single injection for cattle is 10 ml of the drug; for sheep and goats and dogs 5 ml, for cats 1 ml.
WARNINGS: Don’t use in stressed Horses, it could cause diarrhea leading to death. So, stop treatment immediately.
Don’t use in case of retained placenta.
